Aaaahhhh

September 3, 2009 By Dana White | 9 Comments

My kitchen isn't small, but most of the time my workspace is. My decent-sized counter is usually completely cluttered at each end, leaving just a small amount of space between the stove and the sink. Somehow, in my mind this is justified. One side is for snacks, and the phone sits on the other side, so I guess it's a message center. But it isn't. … [Read more...]

This is why I have this Blog

September 2, 2009 By Dana White | 20 Comments

I just looked at the time on this post. I'm learning that blogger puts the time on the post as the time you start writing it. Normally annoying, but this time I'm glad. I sat down to write my daily checklist, with the desire to be brutally honest about not having accomplished much today. Then I saw that I had a COMMENT!!! I was so excited as it … [Read more...]

September 1, 2009 By Dana White | 13 Comments

My first Tackle it Tuesday! This is right up my alley. Motivation to do the things that don't get done otherwise. It is my goal for the week to get three clutter areas cleared. So then there will only be sixty or seventy more to go. Ha ha ha. I'm not kidding. Look at my blog name. I have the prettiest … [Read more...]

One week down: The rest of my life to go . . .

August 30, 2009 By Dana White | 15 Comments

I started this blog on Monday, and today is Sunday. So with this post, I've been blogging for a week now. I'm proud of the fact that my bed has been made everyday. I used to think that there was no point in making your bed, because you're going to get back in and mess it up that night. I . . . was . . . wrong. It feels nice. We don't lose the … [Read more...]

What should I be doing?

August 26, 2009 By Dana White | 28 Comments

So I've blogged for two days now. Not exactly a marathon accomplishment, but you have to start somewhere. I'm guessing that if anyone was reading this, they'd probably want to tell me about some great resources to help in getting my house in order. I'm very open to reading things, but I should probably share that I've read quite a few things on … [Read more...]

Here We Go!

August 24, 2009 By Dana White | 135 Comments

I discovered the world of blogs about a year and a half ago, and I immediately thought that it was the thing for me. I mean, a reason to write - great! A chance of someone actually reading what I write - wow! So, I've researched, considered, planned, meant to and generally procrastinated in starting one. Why? Well, it hasn't been for a lack of … [Read more...]
