I know. I’m always thinking about my stuff and decluttering and clutter and such, so it only makes sense that the moving process has given me a lot to think about. I mean, touching every last thing we own will do that. I’m sharing the progress so far and what I’ve learned that will (hopefully) help in keeping things clutter free on an ongoing basis.

So relevant even if we’re not moving! Best wishes in your new home.

I have had your books for a while, but only recently connected on your YouTubes and podcasts. The Take It There Now and not making a bigger mess while you declutter are game changers . No offense to Marie Kondo, but pulling out every piece of clothing and piling it on the bed would make me psychotic. We would end up sleeping in the camper for months. Better not perfect is the “perfect” mantra for me and although I still have unpacked boxes in my garage from our move 3 years ago, my house is pretty tidy most of the time. Even while preparing a huge Thanksgiving dinner, my kitchen stayed mostly under control and I found a few “duh” items to put in my donatable donate box.
