Daily Checklist – Again with the Priorities

So thankful for my daily checklist on days like today.  It helps me keep my priorities in line.  I’m starting to freak out a little over how much I need to do before the bug man comes on Monday, and pre-daily-checklist, I would have let that be an excuse to ignore the kitchen, bathrooms, whatever.

Whenever I get delusional that I’ve gotten pretty far on this Journey to Clean, I need to schedule the bug man.  Cuz’ really, when I start seeing things through his (or maybe her?) eyes, they look much different.

I even braved the playroom this morning.  The very scary playroom which I generally pretend doesn’t exist.  I set the timer for 20 minutes, since everything in me was resisting working in there, but then went an extra 5 minutes after I saw how much of a difference the 20 minutes made.

Really?  20 minutes?  If I could devote even 5 minutes a WEEK to cleaning that room, I wonder what kind of a difference it would make?

And I’m exhausted.  I exercised this morning, cleaned bathrooms, did the normal daily stuff, and then tackled the boys’ closet and the playroom.  I just took a Benedryl after breathing in all of that dust, and now can barely keep my eyes open to type.

Hope this was coherent.
