Focus Check Friday

I’m ready for Friday.  It’s been a fun week of VBS at our church, but I’m glad tomorrow is the last day.

As for my focus this week . . . I’ve survived.  I halted the big weekly cleaning tasks, and I’m okay with that.  I did alright at the daily stuff, though far from perfect.  Once I quit expecting failure, things went much better.

Next week is stressing me.  It begins our Cousins Camp/Vacation/Savvy Blogging Summit time, and I’m not ready.  I have much packing and prepping to do.  I’ve been working on a list.  Putting my must-dos down on paper helps me a lot.

My goal for the weekend is to pack for both cousins camp and our vacation, separately.  This will mean doing laundry early.  Once that is done, I’m hoping to just check things off the list until it’s time to go.

How was your focus last week?  Did you find success or have any big struggles?  What is your focus for next week?  This is your excuse to talk about yourself, to babble about the details running through your head.  It’s your excuse to take a moment to focus.

You can leave a comment, link up a blog post below, or just stop and breathe for a moment.  If you do link up, please say something like, “I’m linking this up at Focus Check Friday over at A Slob Comes Clean” and then link back to this post.

You did a great job this week! Just look how far you've come comparing this year to last.

Thanks for hosting FCF – I really look forward to it each week.

Good luck with your packing. We are going camping for a week next month (in a tent) and I am already dreading that job. Hope all goes well!!

Help I am a Depression Baby – Mother never threw out anything because:
    – We would need it later
    – it wouldn’t be at the store again (never to be able to purchase it )
    – to throw it out wastes $$
    – we can always find another use for it later
I inherited this and I now have 86 years of my overbuy
